Meet Randy
Dear Friends ;
My name is Randy Ward. I am known as Gospel on Wheels "The Man In The Wheelchair Singing For Jesus." I don't know about you, but I don't get sidetracked with denominational doctrines. I sing about the cross, blood, and resurrection. My ministry is unique in that I bring something for everyone. I sing a variety of different genres. Some songs you will recognize as oldie but goodies and some have never been heard. Each one I feel has a message for that certain someone and I leave it in Gods hands to decide when and where. I am currently taking bookings for 2020-21. If you would like to reserve a date for your church or special event please do so as soon as possible. Sunday services and holidays book up fast so call today. I would be honored if you would allow me to come to your church and uplift the name of Jesus in song & testimony. I do Sunday Services, Homecoming's, Concerts, Brotherhood Activities, Senior Adult Activities, Gideon's Services, Special Events, and many more. No event is too large or too small when Jesus is involved. References are available from the Columbus and Bladen Baptist Association, Assemblies of God and almost every other denomination. There is NO CHARGE OR FEE! However, it does cost to move this ministry. We ask only for a love offering the day of the service to help with fuel and equipment cost. No distance in the USA is too far and no finance is too small for me to come and share what God has done for me and can do for you. I find the wheelchair can cause hesitation at times. Let me assure you I require no assistance. My staff will handle everything from setup to breakdown and all in between. With your help, God can work through me in your area to reach the lost . For bookings, please call (910) 655-0417 or visit our website at www.gospelonwheels.com I am originally from a small community in rural North Carolina by the name of Old Dock. I was sent to the Boys Home of Lake Waccamaw, North Carolina after my parents could no longer care for me. It turned into one of the best opportunities . I decided early on I wanted to do something with my life. In high school I held the honor of All East Track in high school assuring me a promise of football and track in the U.S. Army. At the age of seventeen, while home on leave from the U.S. Army getting ready for spring track trials, I was involved in a tragic automobile accident, December 25th, 1970. On the day the world celebrates our savior I lost my legs and my faith. I had not yet reached my 18th birthday and all my hopes and dreams were shattered. I found myself in a military hospital bed paralyzed. For ten years I blamed and cursed God. Drug and alcohol addiction soon followed. I became a servant for the devil. At times I thought I'd sell my soul for dope. Death of a spouse from drugs.Then one night while lying in my hospital room, Jesus spoke to my heart and said, "Randy, I didn't paralyze you. I did allow it to happen, but you're the one who got in that car." That was the beginning of my road to salvation. I straddled the fence for years. Playing church and out in the world as well. I even attended Bible college. Then, in 2001, the Holy Spirit convicted me and I was saved and anointed. I must say it is both an honor and a privilege to use Gods gift of voice to sing and give my testimony of Jesus. My only hope is that you allow me to share this wonderful gift with you. It is a personal relationship and He will be your refuge (see Psalm 91).
Respectfully Yours,
Randy Ward
